Nivea Soothing Cleansing Oil gently cleanses the face while removing make-up.
I think facial cleansing oils have become an obsession for me. I can’t remember the first time I tried these products. But I can remember loving it on the first try. It’s not even a secret. If you read my posts, you know that I’m crazy about oils. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t overdo it with these products. Everything should be used in moderation.
Let’s return exclusively to this product. Nivea is a brand that I use often. But this is the first time I’ve tried their facial cleansing oil. And I must say that I was especially looking forward to this. Before, when I was younger, I used to clean my face with wet wipes. Of course, this is not something ideal. And I soon realized that I had to find something that would suit my skin type. My skin is normal/dry. Sometimes I have dry patches. So hydration is very important to me.

Ingredients: Paraffinum Liquidum,Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride,Isopropyl Palmitate,Isododecane, Ethylhexyl Stearate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate,Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Tocopherol, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Parfum
The packaging looks nice, delicate, and baby pink. It’s a plastic bottle. I like that it is not very big and can be easily carried in a bag. This is great for people who travel a lot. Here you will receive 150 ml of product. There is a pump on the top. I have to admit that the oil comes out quite quickly. I don’t know if I can explain it well. But squeeze the pump slowly. If you squeeze it suddenly, the product can end up on the floor.
The oil is transparent. And, of course, it is in a liquid state. It smells very pleasant and quite intense. But I like the smell so, the intensity doesn’t bother me. It smells like a flower, of course, I have no idea which flower.
The feeling on the skin
Firstly, the oil spreads incredibly quickly over the face. When I added a little water, a mild milky texture appeared. So, now something about rinsing. It washes off a little harder in my opinion. But that is not strange for these types of oils. Almost every oil cleanser I’ve had washed off a little harder.
I use lukewarm water at the beginning. And then with a little cooler. That’s my go-to for a quick rinse.
I must admit that it cleans make-up perfectly. No more rubbing mascara on your face. This is the ideal way for me. The big plus is that it doesn’t irritate my eyes. Now, although it says that cotton pads are not necessary, I use them. And remember that’s just my way of using this. That’s the easiest way for me. Especially if I have heavy make-up on my face. I apply this to a cotton pad and clean my face that way. After that, I add some water to my face and massage the oil.
The skin is very soft and hydrated after using this product. It’s the kind of softness where you can’t stop touching your face.
In conclusion, I must emphasize that this product is not for oily skin. That’s my opinion. And dry skin will love this, I am very satisfied. I am glad that this brand did not disappoint me this time either. Even now, I’m looking forward to taking off my makeup. Which was not the case before.
Cleansing oils are a great part of my skincare routine.
