Oooo yes, coffee-coffee is the first thing I think of in the morning and then again at noon. I’m not the person who loves coffee and doesn’t like a tea only if I have to choose between the two I will always choose coffee first….and Coffee scrub after that.
But this is not about my love for this strong dark beverage. The point here is that coffee can be much more than “something to wake me up”.
This way, people who are not coffee lovers can enjoy this Coffee Scrub and take advantage of the benefits it provides.
It’s a pretty simple recipe.
Coffee for the skin
- help decrease the appearance of sunspots, redness, and fine lines
- Anti-inflammatory effects
- smooth your skin
- cellulite reduction
- fight acne
- packed with antioxidants
- 1 cup coffee grounds
- 6 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp sea salt or sugar
- combine all in cup or bowl
- melt the coconut oil and add to the mixture
- mix and mix well
- apply your scrub especially on to areas with cellulite
Addition- Mix a small amount of spent coffee grounds with coconut oil and you will have a very good lip scrub.
I’m obsessed with this scrub.
First, let me mention that you can use some other oils that you prefer instead of coconut oil and you can put salt instead of sugar. I like this recipe because there are various variations possible, you can play with the ingredients.
After this scrub, the skin is soft and tight and you will be overwhelmed by the beautiful coffee aroma.
A LITTLE WARNING: – the coffee is quite rough so if you have sensitive skin, do not massage too much. Also, make sure you are not allergic to these ingredients if you are do not do this scrub.
